Dipped it again.

Dipped my HHR again this weekend. First time trying RAAIL AirWrap. This product is VERY user friendly. Perfect for any first-timers out there.

This is the 'clear' kit, which includes 2-gallons of base coats (I chose black) and 2-gallons of clear for adding your own tints or pearls.

I added Abyss Midnight Flip from DYC at 50g per gallon. Turned out great.

***The roof will be black soon. I just ran out of weekend.***

Nice! Did you spray it in a booth?

You picked a cool color. Great job and post some more pictures of it in the sun, I would like to see it!

Very unique!

I have seen many uses for Plasti-Dip and have used it for a few years on one of my cars, but not the whole car. I really like how easy it is to use and that you can completely change your car's appearance for a few bucks.

Nice job.

Old thread, I know, but I'm curious how long your dip jobs are holding up?

I went about 13 months on the first one (Sapphire blue), then about 8 months on the color shown in this thread. I didn't NEED to peel the dip, just wanted to change colors. I have since sprayed it again. I'll post pics in a jiffy.

Here is the new color. It's a mix of Nebula Red pearls and Real Red pearls. Sprayed in RAAIL AirWrap.
