Plasti Dip Bra
so im going to be playing around with my plasti dip tomorrow. thinking of trying to make a bra design with it. does anybody who has experience working with plasti dip have any tips or info for me?
thanks -mike |
Check out the various YouTube videos - just do a search for Plasti-dip on Youtube. Lots of good tips there, such as:
- apply a light coat first, wait a few of minutes then apply subsequent coats - 4 will probably cover the paint adequately - I think one of them mentions that you need to remove the masking tape immediately after the final coat, while the final coat is still wet (each coat revitalizes the coasts underneath, which allows the masking tape to be removed without peeling the plasti-dip) The best part is, if you mess it up, peel it off and redo it. Post pictures of the outcome if you can. :) |
X 2, I'd like to see the final 'bra' myself.. I like the idea !!

creative taping comes to mind..think of the possibilities, instead of the cookie cutter straight across the front lines..

If your doing a bra, then black works, Ive used glossifier plastidip (which is actually clear) I used 6 coats of that and did a clear bra on a WRX at work, looks/works amazing. Can barely tell its their.
