I have a few questions regarding the aftermarket Borg Warner injectors since they are fairly inexpensive and my '07 2.4L keeps popping the P1174 code. It is out of warranty and my dealer won't make any promises for cost of repair. They did say it could "really be expensive".

Has anyone here used the Borg Warner fuel injectors for your HHR?

How long have they been installed?

Did you replace them because of the P1174 code?

Did you have any problems after installation? (P1174 returning or other codes)

Did you clean the fuel rail before installing the injectors and what did you clean it with?

Did you power wash or otherwise clean the head area prior to removing the original injectors?

Was engine performance normal after the replacement?

Would you buy the Borg Warner injectors again?
