I've been reading threw the forums and been reading and figured I'd join and just ask some questions. I have a 2006 chevy hhr has had multiple motors put in it 3 to be specific. Anyway it's not my transportation vehicle I have mutiple others. It's been sitting for year year and half. Before it sat my sister was using it for maybe 6 months. It worked fine at beginning about half way through the shifter problem happened with key being stuck haven to use button under steering wheel. Once she got vehicle and I took possession of it back i started and drove It a little once a month or so. Then it went to a no crank/ start and it's been sitting over a year out in yard. Idk why I got plenty of other **** to work on around the place, guess tired of it sitting out in yard in front of garage. Anyways long story short Iv been trying to see if get the thing to crank its a good car, I need to do something with it before it goes to hell. I got new battery iv went threw all the grounds, cleaned starter wires, changed out relays got couple passenger side head light wires ate by mouse . Its got power and all accessories work inside of the car lights radio windows but nothing when go to crank. Im nothing close to expert with these newer vehicles and diagnostics of the electronics. And I know this is vague with info but I figured I'd start there.

 

Welcome to the site. Have you checked the fuse box bolts? Tighten those 4 bolts.
