Unhappy 2008 HHR Evaporator Drain?

Can someone please tell me if the screw above the Evaporator drain is needed to remove the firewall on a 2008 HHR in order to clear the drain? I tried to post a picture but I am not allowed to. Also, can compressed air be used to clear this drain plug?

Thank you in advance.

Not really understanding the sentence that has, "to remove the firewall".

The drain is just a rubber/plastic or whatever drip type tube. No need to remove anything. It is an open drain. Nothing to open.
Just run a wire or piece of heavy weedeater line through it to clear it out. And yes, a lot of us old gearheads have used a short blast of compressed air also.

Thank you for responding. I had read in other posts for older model HHRs about having to remove the black firewall cover to remove the plug; fortunately, this plug does not need to be removed so we will try the weed eater line and or air compressor to unstop the line. We had tried an old coat hanger but it was too rigid and logically, it would not go past the bend in the tube, if that is what is what stopped it. Thanks again! I might still actually be able to use my A/C this summer! I am so glad I stumbled upon this forum.

This is the picture of the screw and the plug I wanted to post in my original question. Thank you for posting how to submit pictures. I am not sure if it will make it through or not but at any rate, I believe my question has been answered ... for now ...

I think you are referring to information about the "butyl patch" which was used on 2006 models. It is under the cowl.
