You don't need to 'hear it'. Just open the hood and look to see if the fan is spinning. At 250 degrees, you should check your oil.
As far as the oil, I checked that this morning too, and it was the normal color and at the normal level. Nothing out of the ordinary with that... |
After you get the fans fixed, (ASAP), it would be a good idea to change that oil no matter how good it looks, just in case. Better safe than sorry, it could have lost some quality and still look okay.....

OK, I will make sure I do that. I am going to take it in for service this afternoon. I'm hoping maybe the fan was just left disconnected after the recent radiator replacement. We'll see...

Turn the key to the on position and see what your ECT on your DIC says, i.e. how 'cool' the car is from sitting over night.

I hope the radiator was changed because it was leaking, not because of an overheating problem. |

If it was, the shop was not very thorough at testing as they should have at least turned on the AC to make certain the fan worked.

also that hot i would think about the thermostat also. It maybe worth replacing it anyway as a just in case thing. It doesnt take a whole lot to make a thermostat stick. There should be a link in the how to for replacing it
