Abs Braking

Any one experience the ABS kicking in for no reason when almost at stop? Of course I have the brakes on and am turning the wheel at the same time. Almost stopped and I can hear and feel the ABS.

ABS is always there (If so equipped of course). How much you feel it depends on how hard you brake, speed etc. Do you brake extra hard at toward the end of your stopping "cycle"?

no, I don't......I wonder if the sensitivity is adjustable? It is definitely not working properly.

Take it back to the dealer and tell them the ABS kicks in even when the tires are not slipping. That is the only time it should ever kick in.
There is no ajustability that you are going to be able to make.

A mechanic will be able to determine the problem and repair it. Chances are it is a sensor on one of the corners that is mis reading slipping.
As for adjustments, that is something that I suggest you stay away from. Not that there is no adjustment ability.
Unless you have experience in working on ABS systems, I would stay away from it. It's your life you are screwing with if you mess something up and can't brake. I have worked on plenty of brake systems replacing rotors, calipers, pads, drums, shoes, springs, you name it, but when it comes to the ABS part, I let someone who does it for a living handle it. Just my opinion...

I hear you, I wouldn't dream of getting into ABS, I know absolutely nothing about it!
