ABS and ESC PROBLEM

Hello Group,
I replaced struts on my 2008 HHR about 3 months ago. To get this done we unplugged the speed sensors. After all was replaced the ABS and SKID Lights were on. My son's friend read codes and the indication was that the passenger front wheel sensor was out. He indicated there was not way to reset this code. So the option was to replace the hub and sensor. On this hub the sensor is molded in to the hub. You can't just replace the sensor.
From things on the internet it seemed that replacing the hub and sensor and the lights should go out. Well, did replace and I still have the lights.
My son is suggesting perhaps the plug on the car side or the wire on the car side.
Has any one experenced this. I looked all over and find no other way to reset.
Any and all help and suggestions apprecitated.
You can email me one on one if you wish at photobug98@hotmail.com
THANKS
