AC Water leak solution

I purchased a product called "AC Pro Flush & Clean" to fix the leaking on the passenger floor board. The first fix was to use the can that had a hose and tip. We sprayed half the can, let it sit for about 5 minutes and then used the rest of the can. Water was pouring out the whole time. Next we used the shop vac to suck it out for about 5 minutes. Next we used the venturi gun in a quart of the same solution and sprayed the dickens out of it for another 5 minutes. Did the shop vac again and called it. Happy to report we did a long test drive and the water is properly flowing out and same today. I think we have it fixed.

I've used that product before but I've used it to flush the internal ac system itself while replacing the compressor, receiver/drier or orifice tube, etc. It's a solvent so it should also work well for clearing the drain.

Good to hear you got it fixed.
Now that is draining as it's supposed to, you should also recheck the cabin air filter. Make sure none of that trapped water or moisture made it into the filter itself.
Better yet, maybe even just throw in a new one of those "smell good" cabin filters. I'm sure your car must have had a little musty smell (or worse ) when the drain was backed up.

Glad to see you might have solved your problem.

After working on cars & trucks for over 40 years, I am always happy to see a problem put to rest. Congrats!
