Accelerator Doesn't Step Up
 

One, the SVC Tire Monitor light bings on again and again. Okay, I live in the South, it gets a bit hot (understatement!), I can figure the air pressure is going to rise above monitor levels. At cool, currently, all four are set at 32.

However, what concerns me is that, twice now, when I come to a stop light with this problem, I'll press the accelerator and nothing happens. The engine has not cut off, but I have to turn off the car and turn it back on to get any response. There may be other factors involved, but the accelorator problem has not happened when the SVC Tire Monitor is not alarming at me. The fact that it does not always do this when the SVC Tire Monitor is on makes me wonder if there really is a relation.

Ever heard of this problem? It's still under 36K warranty, so it will be checked out, but if it's happened elsewhere, it will help the case.

Do you get a Low Traction indicator...??
