Anyone who had the intermediate air bag light problem, did your air bags deploy?
I see the air bag light issue so much, but I never see anyone confirm that it disables all the air bags or just the problem one. Im currently having the issue and planning on unplugging the battery a second time to use contact cleaner to see if it fixes it.

I may be inconsistent and chaotic, but this is what I know about airbags and their indication,
maybe it will lead you to the right line of thought: 1. the safety system is very reliable and under special supervision of the manufacturer, this is due to the manufacturer's reluctance to lose in court. 2. during a trip in our car, the airbag that is intended for a specific person is activated. The driver - always, the front passenger - if the on-board automation understands that the passenger seat is occupied; 3. the "airbag malfunction" indicator is on if: the on-board automation cannot track the seat belt; the on-board automation cannot track the airbag itself; the on-board automation cannot track the presence or absence of a passenger in the seat; general failure of the on-board automation. The most likely causes are the seat belt and the sensor in the seat. Simply wet or corroded connectors and wiring. Check to clear your conscience. |
What issue? I have no idea what you are talking about.

The issue, the air bag light caused by the wet connection in the passenger side kick panel.
