Hey, is there a way I can permanently disable the auto lights function? The guy who drives my car keeps forgetting to turn it off (my DRls don't work, probably a sensor issue) and a few time we've had the case of the drained battery in the most unfortunate places. If there is a way to stop the lights from coming on each time the key is turned, itd really help.

What would disabling the auto off function do? If this is a 2006 the turn signals are the DRL.
Auto is the default position. On keeps them on until the battery dies.

 

Sounds like "the guy who drives my car" doesn't know how the lights work. He seems to be turning the headlights "On" and then forgetting to turn them Off when he turns the car off.
FYI. Auto headlights will turn off on their own after the ignition is turned off.
