Auto won't start!! Help!!
 

my wifes auto ss won't start!!! clicks that's it. this am i couldn't jump it. tow truck came to get it,he tried to jump it and it worked. got the battery and alt tested and both were fine. getting all kinds of messages on dic. like,service braking system,service esc,etc,....what is going on??? it's going to the dealer in the morning or tonight if i get it started...not a happy camper!!! my 5 speed have not had this many problems as hers.

Loose connection in the back is what it sounds like it may be..

also the interior lights are not shutting off,which could be draining everything. key fobs don't work either.

Was it jumped off at the battery or under hood ? Is the dome light turned off ? Are all dome lights on or just the one that is on when door open ?

problem fixed...got a new battery.:twothumbs:

Kinda felft like a close encounters moment...... What happened to the days of .... Oh well the battery died get a new one. Our HHR's seem to go through death throes when this happens, like a bad actor

i know. what happend to an obvious warning your battery was dying :skull1:?? lol. tell you one thing,that was an expensive battery!!

yeah when the battery goes it gets all kinds of msgs on the dic, the key fobs don't work, god knows what else. my battery is low enough that my key fobs don't work but it still starts no problem. kinda pisses me off but im not spending $110 on a battery just to make my keyless entry work when the battery works fine otherwise.

To bad optima battery's doesn't have a battery for the HHR. I had there battery in my camaro that thing lasted a while I can't remmeber ever changing it.
