Auxillary booster pump

lets see, now at least the 4th time coming up for the brake to the floor problem.. doesnt matter that it happened in their bay leaving the service dept and they witnessed the issue.. they want to "experience" the problem. i called the number chevy manager gave me and only dealt with the secretary and of course was steered back to my dealer.. they want it for another few days..bull crap...so somebody can take it home..i am done..maybe i will wait for a recall, my 1 yr anniversary just passed.. or i will sell it.

maybe i will..this issue has been from the start and documented. now since the car is a hair over the year old, i wont get a loaner car..nice.

ChevyMgr Sep 10, 2010 08:10 AM

If you are under 3 years old and 36K you do get a rent car.

speedster Sep 10, 2010 09:15 AM

i wonder why the service desk would tell me that. its 1 yr old with 5700 miles on it. the nearest dealer is 10 miles away, perhaps it might be wise to check them out.. i mentioned to the tech that i am not biting at the bit to have this pump installed [i dont want to bring on additional problems] but if thats the fix, no choice.

speedster Sep 18, 2010 07:13 AM

they had my car since tues morn..on thurs morn the issue happened for them..they determined the problem to be "the motor working the abs system" and the part needs to be ordered..so here i sit with this crappy corbolt.
