botched obd2 port from previuose theft/TWEAKERS

so i bought a hhr and it has a engine light on and i went to run a scanner on it and there is literally 4 pins left in the exsisting port or at least what's left of it but bottom line is i need some electrical distribution schematics because i am gifting the car to my mom but i need to get this wiring put back together right so i can fix the engine light before i can let my mom have it

Welcome to the site. Hopefully the photos in this eBay ad will help you figure out which wire goes where.
maybe purchase the connector and splice it into your HHR or visit a locat pick a part yard and take some tools to get a connector there.

Likely any OBDII connector from any 06-11 GM gas vehicle will work. Conceptually it only needs 5 wires,: 4, 5, 6, 14 and 16. 4 and 5 are ground, 6 and 14 are CAN and 16 is battery.

Actually, all OBD2 connectors are the exact same pinout since 1996. The only difference in the sockets is the mounting, shape is all the same.
