Brake Pedal to Floor!!!! Cause & solution a mystery!

2006 HHR Soft Brake Pedal
My 2006 experience a sudden soft peddle issue a few days ago. There was no previous indication of a problem. Took it into my mechanic and they replaced the Master Cylinder and flushed the brake system. There was no change to the problem. It goes back in tomorrow. Will let you know what and if they find the problem.
