Broken driver side door handle
 

HELP!
I broke the door handle off of my 2010 HHR. I can not even blame it on my son. Where can I buy a reasonably priced used or new door handle. I was surprised that it is made of such cheap plastic

Welcome Ray. That's strange that it's not that old and broke. I would pull the part number off of the door handle that broke, and go to gmpartsdirectdotcom and pull it up there..

Welcome to the site. You can do a search here and come up with many different answers on "where to get the part" and "how to fix it". Door handle breakage is a common problem on the HHR. Plus,someone will chime in on this thread and tell you where to get the part.
Since it's a 2010,what about warranty coverage?

yup you might get it done under warranty.
And remember, its only for opening the door, not closing it.

As mentioned, this should be covered under warranty. However, if you really did need to replace it, the only choices are an entirely new door panel from GM, or an aftermarket replacement kit from Dorman. About $82 with shipping and a 5% discount from Rock Auto (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2888361). Its a 20 minute job for anyone reasonably handy.
