Car Stalls on Start
 

I have on 08 2LT 2.4L with about 23,000 miles on it that started acting weird the other day. When I was driving it seemed to lose power like it was stalling for about 5 secs. I thought it was weird and continued home. When I got home I went in for a couple of hours, came back out to leave and tried to start the car. It would not start! Turned over and tried to start but just wouldn't run for longer than a second. Did this about 6 times till I noticed my tank was low so I put some gas in it from a gas can and it started fine. So I am thinking bad gas.

Well I immediately go and fill the tank up and it seems like the problem is gone. Well that was two days ago. Again this afternoon it would not start. Sat there for about 10 mins then it would start. Still seems to loose power every now and then. BTW no engine light has come up showing any kind of errow. I plan on taking it in to the dealer but I feel that if they can't replicate the issue it won't get fixed. Does this sound familiar to anyone? TSB?

Ok ,it wouldn't start in the parking lot today.

Called the tow truck to tow to the local dealer. I will keep you guys informed.

Fuel pump would be my best over the internet diagnosis.

Dealer has it and said they think it is either the fuel pump or fuel pump relay.

We shall see.
