Changing AC default setting

I searched fir an answer to this and didnt see anything but I apologize if I missed it. My 07 2.4 1LT a/c switches back to the fresh air setting from recirculate when I turn it off and then restart. Its hot this time if year here so I run the ac on recirc so the engine cooling fan runs and the ac is much colder. This is an issue for me because I use the car for paper deliveries so I am constantly stopping and starting and every time I have to press the ac recirc button. An 05 Chevy Trailblazer I just sold would stay on recirc when turned off and restarted. Anyone know if this is something that could be programned? I asked service advisors at the Chevy dealer yesterday and they didnt seem to have a clue about anything. Thank you in advance for any help

I always run mine in (outside air mode), on Bi-Level & with the A/C on. But I turn my A/C off about 1/4 mile from home to dry things out.

I always run on recirculate, but then I also run my A/C at home with the doors and windows closed.

I leave the fan running on fresh air always. When I was doing magazine deliveries with upward of 100 stops a day I just left the AC on high and left the engine running all day. Left the driver side rear window open so I could jump out and grab the books without slowing down.
