Code p0172

My engine light came on I got a code of p01702 so I change the thermostat, air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor. The light still on but it goes off every so often and stays off for maybe 10 miles. Any suggestions

For P0170 check your MAF sensor

https://www.obd-codes.com/p0170

The code you posted is foreign to the HHR

Hi Curious, to the forums!!

You've got an extra number on there. If you meant P1702, there is nothing on the site for that one, and Google only turns up results for Ford products.

I would focus on vacuum leaks, including the EVAP purge valve being stuck open.

What thermostat did you put in? Manufacturer and part number.

How many miles, engine size?
