Codes and leaky fuel lines

My 2009 HHR has the Service Engine Light on at Present. I replaced the engine sensor twice and the SEL stayed of for 2 years each time replaced. There is a number of factors that causes this light to come on.
You really have to understand the principal of this system and it all relates to air leak [Oxygen Sensor] what is coming out of your exhaust. My light is on now and I am having the gas line and vapor line replace with Neaprone lines [ Vapor Line has Pin holes}

Thanks
Dean A. Porter

Hi Dean, to the forums!!

I've edited out your phone number and email address so you don't get spammed.

I've also moved your post to a new thread. It's extremely unlikely that the issues in the other thread have the same causes.

If you would like to post what actual codes you have had, we can try to help diagnose the problems you have been having for years.

There is no "engine sensor" There are about 10 sensors under the hood off the top of my head. More than likely once the fuel lines are fixed the codes will be fixed, unless there are several.

Welcome to the site, codes, 2 years, understand the way the HHR works?
You have come to the right place, please post your codes you speck of and the sensor.
Make sure you use high pressure fuel hose for those impromptu steel fuel line replacements.
There are fuel line replacement kits out there

Everyone that has or has had fuel line leaks should file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

I bought one of the partial replacement line kits for the fuel & vapor lines. What is the proper tool to use in cutting off the old line at a point where it is solid? I assume a dremmel is out due to sparks, but what type of tool can get up behind the line since its up against the underbody?

Pop the line out of it’s holding clamps and use a small pipe cutter

This cuts as small as 1/8”
