Control arm bushings

Control arm bushings

Brought the car in a month ago bor a banging noise. Need both the upper and lower. Been a month and dealer says still on back order. I have the car back,,But was wondering if he's bs'in me??

I've heard that control arm bushings are a fairly common problem with these. The problem is, the bushings are not servicable, so you have to replace the entire contol arm.

Is this a warranty repair, or are you paying yourself? Rock Auto shows both Dorman and Mevotech upper and lower control arms in stock.

On my 2006 (according to the work order) they were able to replace the lower control arm bushing on the drivers side.

Passenger side also had a bad ball joint, so they replaced the entire lower control arm.
