anyone ever hear of this problem?

had the cruise set on 70, then the car jumped up to 80

I'm pretty sure i didnt touch anything, :steering:

They will jump a couple of MPG if accelerating up a hill or something, but 10.....

TIme for a dealership visit.

Watch your hands on the steering wheel, I had it happen to me a few times and I had accidently touched the + button the steering wheel without realizing it. It scared the crap out of me. :eek:

Agreed.:thumb: I had an '06 LT2 that would accelerate a few extra mph, but 10 is excessive. My SS does not do any extra acceleration at all on cruise. I would go to the dealer for a check on the problem if I were you.

i'll try it this weekend, and see if i can reproduce it, before i take it in.
i may have hit the + button, but don't remember.
i just wanted to see if it happened to anyone on here.

Unless you held the "+" button down continuously, it wouldn't keep accelerating. One quick push of the "+" button usually bumps up the set speed 1 or 2mph.
