Welcome to the site. The cruise control switches in the steering wheel might be worn out.

How are you trying to resume? By the directions in the Owner Manual? You have to be moving over 25 MPH. It won't resume if you slowed down more than about 10 MPH
Is the CheckEngineLight on? Are the brake lights stuck on?

Post #1 says cruise will engage, just not resume or increase speed, so by that I think there’s no CEL and the brake lights are functioning

To access the steering wheel switches, see page post #32 from this post in the way back machine!

Be sure to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and put a shop towel on the latch so the hatch can’t close.

If the new switch doesn’t fix it, you may be looking at a bad clock spring.

Wouldn’t a bad clock spring take out all those buttons?

It won't resume no matter what my speed is at this time. But it will set and when I cancel it it want return to the original speed or it want advance.

How is the cruise cancelled?
If with the brake then resume should work.
If with the steering wheel button then the cruise must be engaged again.
