Door unlock and lock while driving, shifter in the transsmisiongoes crazy
Helllo!
Its been a long time since ive been posting my problems :) So to the point. I driven again a long way about 1000 miles, after one sto the car wen crazy. When i shift to D or R or other position than P (park) door lock and unlonck an the shifter click the same as its on P. When i drive another strange thing happens after 20-50 door open/locks the speedometer goes crazy laike there is no power, sometime it goes to zero when im driving and the T/C problem comes on the dashboard. The car acts like shifting to lower gear and then goes to the proper gear (i think) but the problem doesnt stop. The ODB dosnt not show any codes. Today ive buyed new bettery so that on battery test showed my was 320 unit not 680 as it should. The nearse auto elecrisian is out for holiday untill monday. So i tryed the TMC reset - didnt work new battery - didnt work all cables on +/- seem to be alright both on batter and under the hood Any suggestions ? As always im 1500 km from home where people drive golf II and carsfrom 70-80 (like in Cuba XD) i need some ideas Thank for any reply |
Has the fuse box ever been dis assembled? The most frequent reason is the bolts that hold it together are not really, really, really tight past afraid to strip.

Even if it's never been disassembled, tighten those bolts.

Ive tigten the fuse box under the hood, the interior one dosent have a bold i will buy a bolt and screw it. Lets see if it helps :) (i hope so) But there are some symptoms that i hear, beside the door lock open and close when the car drives a distance aprox 80 km i hear non stop click sound the same when i manualy lock the doors, its constant, the sound goes from the back of interior fuse box. So there are two sounds the click from the shifter and faster constsnt clicing like in the manual door lock sound, not the main click sound, the sound when you double press the relay. Another strange thing that yesterday i went for a 100 km trip. First 50 km non stop clicking sound, when i arrived the car was parked for aprox 3 hours. I started the engine, no clicking no door locks. When i pulled to tank fuel i shoot down the engine, when i started it again the clickin sounds came back, and they stayed untill i came back to start destination. |
If the inside fuse box was loose, the problem is probably solved. The door lock relays are on the back of it.
Push all of the fuses, make sure they are all seated. Is the battery at 12.5 volts, engine off? |

Computer modules don't make any sound. It is a circuit board encased in epoxy inside a metal box.
The transmission has a pump in it that circulates fluid when in gear. No other fluid or air involved. |

You say you bought a new battery and voltage is fine. But you don't say precisely how many volts the battery has. What is the voltage after sitting at least overnight? What is the voltage while cranking? What you think is fine, may not be enough for the computers. Even new batteries can be bad, and good batteries can quickly become bad if the charging system is faulty.

The sound of air/gas is now formed something like old computer when they ware thinking (pentium I) like loud recieving data. So now its time to screw the bulbs from the back (didnt work) _--------_ So when i made an exrta ground the shifter does a click when i hit brake pedal, so now im in two problems the shufter clik only when i hit brake and door constant tryi g to lock (but they are locked) i guessin short circuit in the doors, as in the back of interior fuse box there is a non stop clicking sound the same when i pres the lock door button Now... Where to start searching for the shortcut in the doors ? And start with drivers doors, so that is the maseter switch ? |
