I notice a vibration in the steering wheel when unwinding it after a moving turn. Is this a trait of electric steering or is there something wrong? Electric steering is new to me, and I have never felt that vibration with regular power steering. Has anybody else experienced this?

Pccman, The HHR has electric power assisted steering, not elec. steering. It is essentially the same as the old power steering, just not belt driven. An electric motor does the same function.
If you`re experiencing a vibration, different from anything you`ve felt since you got your ride (not exhilaration/euphoria) and you don`t think it`s the road , take it to your dealer. Could be a loose fitting, connecter, or just a wheel out of balance.
Best to let the "experts" make the call, could be something/nothing.

Yes I intend to ask the service manager at the dealer, but wanted to first know of other similar findings, if any.
