Electrical Nightmare

I have a 2009 Chevy HHR LT. Only the Drivers window works from the New drivers window controller. You can hear the other windows click but no action.Did not find any damaged wires between the door and body. The ground from the switch to body is good. All fuses are good and have power to them.Took apart the driver rear door and the Green wire is HOT black ground is good.Nothing worked before I replaced the drivers door switch assembly.

The 2 wires from the switch go directly to the driver window motor. Power and ground are common.

So, bad LF switch, bad motor, bad wires or bad mechanism are the only choices. If you hear the motor trying then it is the regulator/motor assembly.

I am so confused; which windows work?

The 2 wires to the motors reverse polarity depending on the direction requested. There is digital logic involved it is NOT wired like a 60's car.

Rear windows dont work from drivers door or by themselves

Replaced drivers control pad. Only drivers window moves all 3 others just click. All fuses are good. Power and ground at main switch are good. No broken wires between drivers door and body.
