It's now been there a week. GM doesn't know, the dealer doesn't know, and now that they have been messing with it they can't even get it to start. I still owe on this car and the dealer can't even get it to start. It ran when it was dropped off.

Oh, it will start eventually. All they have to do is keep replacing parts until it starts. You might have essentially a new car by then, but theoretically, they'll hit on the right part at some point.

Theoretically, anyway.

There is quite a laundry list of parts that have been changed already. BCM, TCM, Fuse box, etc. The guy was talking about changing the power steering module next.

I've got a ghost

After getting it towed to the dealer Friday I went to check on it today and it started and drove fine. I checked my fuses and relays. Some of them were loose, but not horribly so. I also noticed a bolt on the side of my engine was rubbing into my wiring harness. The dealer is looking into it Monday for me. I know some other people have had this problem. What did the dealer have to do to fix it? If they can't reproduce the problem they tend to not believe there is one. I think its probably a loose harness, but I'm afraid it's something more.

2006 Chevy HHR
61,000 miles.
I've got a ghost also. One time it will effect the window, another time the radio. Today was the worst. I had no power steering but it always fixed itself with restarting the car.
My ghost has been in my dashboard for about 7 years and hasn't caused anything major. So I don't bother with it.
