Engine idle rough/ check engine light
 

2007 HHR 2.4 LT.... I have replaced the camshaft sensor #1 and #2 and the check engine light came back on, along with car idles rough and want to die- and transmission clanks when shifting.... what else could be the problem> the code keep pulling up Camshaft sensors.........what is in front of the line to cause them to keep going out?

Post up the code numbers.
Fwiw. If you replaced the sensors, you probably replaced the wrong parts.
Most likely, it's the solenoids that are bad.
There is a big thread about the solenoids here on this site. Do a search here or someone will come along and point you to the thread.

In the future, please include all info you have that is related, such as the codes you downloaded. We can't help you without those codes - to offer any advice, anyone here would most likely just be guessing.

OK code P011, P010, P0341, changed intake and exhaust sensors and camshaft position sensor... so solenoid's on top, are my next change... someone said Timing chain can cause these codes as well? is this a possibility

You have changed the wrong parts the Solenoids are where you should have started. Please read the thread that Whopper suggested.
Sensor is not the same as Solenoid. The people at Autozone and Advance etc. are NOT trained well enough to read an OBDII code correctly, you are not alone.

Sensor does not equal solenoid. P0010 and p0011 point to the intake solenoid. Donbrew is correct in what he said.

Note: p010 and p011 are wrong!!! The code is p0010 and p0011 - it is important to be precise when relaying info like this.

Check the timing chain now before driving it more

Not sure what you mean by this. The OP's codes point in the direction of having solenoid issues.

cpcook. I recall you being one of those rare folks that had to replace a timing chain. Wasn't that with a P0016 code showing? Just because you had that problem, no need to scare the OP. Although checking the timing chain is not a bad idea, I doubt it's gonna be the OP's problem.

I think anyone with an HHR needs to buy a scanner OB-D Can and a digital voltmeter and keep them in the HHR at all times not much money too spend to be able to find what is needed.
