X2 on needing info.

Plus. Does it clatter just on start up ? only when accelerating? all the time ?
Where is the noise coming from? Front of engine? Back?

First thing I would do is check for oil pressure. With a gauge, not just going by the light.

I put it in a 2010 Equinox (4 cylinder) only product that stopped detonation. Higher octane was a waste of money, other fuel additives useless. Expensive, but I did notice improvement in mpg, at current useage it would save me about $80.00 a year in gas. Eventually pays for itself. I used the fuel and oil treatment.

Archoil.....interesting product. But I doubt if it would correct an engine mechanical problem. Might be a "Band-Aid" approach, covering the underlying problem.

Excessive valve train, or engine knock (if it is) if far different than spark knock do to low octane or poorly blended gasoline, imo.
