Been dealing with a "small leak" for awhile now. All major components EXCEPT for charcoal canister and fuel neck, have been replaced.
checked all the lines, they seem fine; sturdy plastic no cuts from what I could see/feel.

1. Can a rusty (perhaps with a pinhole, fuel neck trigger a check gas cap warning? (I got a brand new gas cap 2 weeks ago.) The neck is rusty, but solid.
I even pressed down extra hard while turning the cap to see if that made a difference with a better seal, idk.

2. Also, I was running a live view diagnostic of my car tonight, and EVAP_VP(pa) was -44 to -47. What the heck does that mean?! Is it bad? is it normal?
swear to god I googled the crap out of it and couldn't find a straight answer.

3. Finally, does anyone got a how to for removing the Charcoal canister unit, please?

If the sealing surface of the filler tube is rusted it is no going to seal. I would try sanding is a bit then apply some naval jelly/phosphoric acid.

It would help a lot to post the code, year and model/engine.
