A few issues

I bought my 2007 HRR and noticed immediately, that the Lt & Rt Indicator Lever sticks in the directional position that I selected. I have to her the stering'wheel in the opposite direction (which is very dangerous) in order to neutralize/release it.
I also notice a lot of knocking in the Front'End area; and I suspect the struts are faulty.
When I am engaging a left turn I hear a very load HUM, which leaves me thinking that the Power'Steering is also faulty.
Just recently the Seat belt start sticking in the Lock'Clip - (passenger side)(my wife and kids are freaking'out when they get in the car. Because they have gotten stuck in the seat/belt. So they would sit in the rear seat.).
Now that this "Ignition problem gas surfaced, I am studying immensely"; and consequently discovering that these issues are common, in are recall issues. I had called GM on the Ignition problem; however, these old issues need to be addressed by the manufacturer/GM.

Any advise from anyone?

Sincerely

This posting was moved to a more appropriate section from the GM Recall Campaign section.

As I understand it (your post is a little hard to read) your issues with your 2007 HHR are that you are having problems with the following:

1) the turn signals don't self-cancel and you have to "the stering'wheel in the opposite direction (which is very dangerous) in order to neutralize/release it."
2) noisy front end with "knocking"
3) a loud HUM when turning left
4) seat belt not unlocking
5) and you are hinting that GM should make all these issues a recall issue???

I'm going to be a wee bit blunt here, as I don't think there is any other way of answering to this:

- first off, do you not realize that the turn signal lever can be cancelled by hand? To turn the wheel in the opposite direction to get it to cancel you say is "very dangerous" - of course it is dangerous - why are you doing it that way?

- noisy front end - your car is a 2007 but you did not mention the mileage - things do wear out - do you expect them to last forever? We have lots of info here on finding and resolving issues with worn out front end components from struts/sway bar links and bushings etc..

- loud HUM - well that needs to be checked out - if you can't figure it out where the noise is coming from take it to a shop for diagnosis

- seat belt unlock issue - have you spoken to your dealer about it? If you mention that you consider it a "safety issue for obvious reasons", they may help you out

Things do wear out - that's the way things work. If you are suggesting that they all be part of a recall campaign ..

ps: you might want to go back to your other two threads about the key fobs and the door locks, and acknowledge that you have seen the responses - hopefully they helped you out.

Would think some of this would have been evident before vehicle was purchased?
