Flickering Dash Lights

My lights are flickering around the heater/ac area. I think the radio lights are okay, but can't quite remember. I'm guessing a loose wire or icky fuse??

When I get my oil changed, will the svs dept ream me for this little thing?

Help appreciated

have you done any removing of that area any time ago?
could it be just a loose connection from the back where it plugs in to the component?
when did this first start?

huh?! huh?! huh?!

Many cars out there have little idiosyncrosies, some seem to point towards a common problem. Does the HHR dash lights flicker just before battery failure?

again..a serious inquiry. Thanks.

can't resist this one. This would of been OK if it was around xmas time. It sounds like there is a bad wire(s) connection someplace. Turn the instrument Panel Brightness Control back and forth and see if that has any effect.

Well, hate to start having hubby dig around back there, but I think you're right. Not all of the dash lights are doing it, and the orig battery had a bad cell and this one is barely a year old and has been perfect.

Thanks for your ideas. The SS has a BOOST button?? Does fire come out of afterburners or something? Can I watch????

No...they have a boost gauge....and I gather the light to that independent gauge is flickering.

Most cars I've owned (all GM) have had slight flickering on the dash lights right before I've had to change the battery out. I'd just get the battery checked first, then the alternator on down.
