Front wheel bearing woes

What a day.
This should have been a half hour job, but no. It's dark and I'm stuck.
I cannot get the hub off for anything. I don't even want to go into the BS from Autozone (four trips ther today).
What the heck, First, the axle nut is 36mm and not 30mm like they and everyone else seems to think it is. (SS anyway).

They rented me a "Universal" hub puller which doesn't fit. My god!
I've tried hammering it as seen on youtube, and the damm thing might as well be welded on. (yes, the three backing bolts are out).

Help!

I just replaced mine last week the bearing corroded to the spindle. I was able to get the bearing out with a fair amount of beating with a hammer. I have had some in the past I was able to remove by treading the three bolts in half way and use a air hammer on the bolt heads. Some time this method will damage the bolt then they will have to be replaced. Only other option would be remove the spindle and beat or press the bearing out with a vise. Goodluck I feel your pain.

Fixed it.
Used a power hacksaw to get a foot hold for a chisel and just went at it for an hour or two until I could hammer a crowbar in there and pry/pound the effin thing out.

Stupid design, the housing is cast aluminum and the bearing hub is steel.
The galvanic reaction welds the two parts together. Duh.

In the end, I made the correct diagnosis. So we're all better now. (except for my elbow).

Glad to here you got it. We both live in the salt belt which don't help things much.

So weird, when I did mine last year, they came right off.
