I ordered this fuel line kit , no multiple connections to leak, OEM , and not a bad price!

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F182759213082

I’ll wait till next week when Dan can assist in the installation.

They arrived this morning in this box, nicely packaged

The fuel tank end of the lines

The engine end of the lines

The full length shot

Having installed the 4-section lines last summer, I'm looking forward to see how you install the 1-piece lines without disassembling the rear of the car to follow the original routing.

I had the fuel tank out to change the fuel pump in Dec, and the lines and the tank are in front the rear axle, the only thing that might get in the way is the exhaust pipe, but if I remove the donut hangers it’ll hang down far enough to allow room
Here kinda is a picture of the lines under an HHR

Here’s today’s reason for not tackling the job!!

6 to 7 inches of snow!

The snowblower fired up 1st pull, made short work of the driveway, but to wet to work on HHR!

I formally recommend against using this technique for maintenance/servicing.

Seems to me I remember this photo from years ago, here on the forum. I don't remember if it was a forum member or not but I think it was....

I do remember clearly it wasn't a funny pic at the time.

I wish I had a car stand, like an engine stand, where you could turn it longitudinally. Of course, all the fries and crap under the seats would come back to life like zombies...

Maybe not such a great idea, unless it's empty like a race car.
