fuel pressure regulator
Welcome to the forum!
Once the fuel leaves the fuel pump, the fuel either hits the fuel rail (2.2l or 2.4l) or hits the high pressure fuel pump (2.0l turbo). the 2.0l turbo model has a high pressure fuel pump on the engine that regulates the pressure. LS/LT models should be regulated from the pump inside the tank...That is one of the bad parts about these cars, everything is inside the tank. No changing the filter out in 20 minutes like the old days.
What is the issue you are having? and did you check your fuses?

Since the OP's sig says he has a SS, I'll chime in.
According to the diagram in the repair manual, there is a fuel pressure sensor located on the fuel rail. I don't see a seperate listing for a fuel pressure regulator, so I'm assuming it's internal in the high pressure pump.
The same should apply with the other pump, the electric fuel pump in the tank. Regulator is built in it also.
Since the pressure readings I've seen on the RPD range from about 1800psi cold start down to around 400 after warm up, I'm not really sure how the parameters are set for it's regulation.
I would suggest consulting the SS service manual if you're doing any diagnostics on the system.
