RE ....the part numbers above i went to gm parts direct and those part numbers come up as sprockets ? ? ? Am i doing somthing wrong ? ? ?

No, they come up as "valves", not "sprockets" - and it looks like the parts have been updated yet again, as noted on their parts page.

So the story goes I had the problem and I ordered the parts, from GM parts direct which at the time I didnt know must look at their orders and then take a 5 day lunch cause it took 2 weeks to deliver them, so in my 2 weeks of waiting i decided to make sure all the fuses and relays where seated properly, checked them reseated them and everything and the problem (after i deleted the code) went away for a week and a half. then the parts finally came and the problem was still gone. so I decided to put the parts in even though i didnt have the problem and its been like 2 and a half weeks and no prob...

I checked my fuse box and could not believe 9 relays were not seated properly..is that even possible?
Anyway I would highly recommend checking the fuses

I have read through this thread and am having a hard time knowing if what I'm experiencing is the same issue. My cars traction control light came on after a 500 mile drive. Once it was on it was shifting hard when putting in and out of the drive, and shifts hard out of first gear. No check engine light, no error codes that I could get. I turn off the car, the next day its running fine, no issues. Drive back home and right around 500 miles the symptoms return. Is this the same intake and exhaust actuator solenoid fix?

Well, it is a possibility - but without any codes from the CEL, it is impossible to say for certain. Generally the solenoids will light up the CEL with those p0010/11/13/14 codes. There are numerous other conditions that can cause the symptoms you are experiencing.

Off hand I would not suspect the solenoids causing the problems. I'd be leaning more towards one of the ABS sensors in one of the hubs. You can try swinging into an autoparts store such as Autozone to see if they can pull a code (even if the CEL is not lit up) - they will do it for free - but they may not have a reader available that will pull ABS codes. A GM dealer can do it as well, but likely will want a "diagnostic fee". :(

I'd suggest having the codes read when the TC light is lit. Without positively determining what the cause is via a code, you can just end up throwing parts/$'s at it, and never get it resolved.

FYI: to clear the error light yourself, (and the hard shifting) you can try disconnecting the NEGATIVE post on the battery in the trunk for a few minutes. No promises, but I think it will clear it till the next occurrence is detected.

Hopefully that helps? Let us know the results if you can. Best of luck.

Which year and engine do you have ? 2.2 or 2.4 ? Early 2.2's did not have the VVT engine so there are no actuator solenoids.
Also, does your car have ABS ?
