I had several incidents where the code indicated one of the solenoids was bad. I had been replacing them over several years... the last time I started hearing a grinding noise from the engine too. Turns out my timing chain guides and tensioners were broken. I replaced it with a kit. about $400 out of pocket and many man hours. That was last spring.

And a different code; P0016 means the timing chain has problems. Instead of P0013/P0014, P0010/P0011. Never go by the description of a code, they don't mean what a lay person thinks they mean.

Replaced intake and exhaust sensors and the TC and CEL came back on within 10 miles.

I also replaced the battery should I try replacing the alternator?

Well, considering that you give pretty much the absolute minimal background information in your post here (actually there is none at all), no one here can give even a slightly educated bit of advice.

Rather than getting into a game of 20 questions in this HOW-TO thread, please open up a new thread in the PROBLEM section, giving the full background on the original problem, with info on why you replaced the battery etc. etc. and we'll see what advice/suggestions we can offer.

Lets close this thread at this point - we will attempt to keep the initial post detailing the part numbers updated as best we can if/when they change in the future.

Final reminder: this thread is ONLY about replacing the solenoids/actuators IF you have been getting the P0010/11 and P0013/14 Check Engine Light codes. It is not about resolving problems with the Traction control light coming on, etc. etc..
