gurgle

I'm sure this had been dissected a thousand times... Can someone link me to a thread that explains why I hear a gurgle sound in my dash upon start-up? 2008 SS.

park where the front end is higher than the rear, air will usually travel to the highest point. & you may have to add coolant.

The big question is - how did the air get IN there? Check for water in the oil, and higher than normal engine temps. I've been reading quite a few posts about blown head gaskets.

Fix = pressure test system to find the leak. Most likely covered by warranty.

Mine does i8t some, my '05 Grand Prix did it all the time, it was never low on coolant and I bled it a bunch of times, didn't change at all. It's not that uncommon in a bunch of vehicles as a couple of my Tahoes did it as well.

Is it the heater or the ac system. The tank for the ac holds pressure and it equalizes through an orifice into the evaporator which could cause a gurgling sound.
