I don't know. The OP doesn't say and his profile only says it"s a "Chebby HHR".

Which is why we like to see that sort of info in a OP.

Sigh, so sorry guys, for some reason I thought I had this in the right section and NOT in the SS section. It's a simple LT, can we move it to the correct location please?

As I said: usually a wiring problem, don't throw parts at it.
Donbrew apologies for it being in the wrong section but does this wiring issue pertain to all HHRs?

I'll answer that for Don.
No.
What he was referring to is the Tmap sensor wiring on the SS models. The regular HHR's don't have those type sensors or that part of the wiring, thus no issue with it.

P0107 means that the ECM is detecting less than 0.2 volts for more than 2 seconds.

There are 3 wires to the MAP 5V ref , signal, low ref. The 5V ref and low ref are on the same wires as the VVT valves. And probably the steering angle sensor, but I don't feel like looking.

If you are not having a P0641/P0651 (5V ref bad) then the 5V ref from the ECM is good. That leaves wires, connections, grounds, fuses.

Then at the end of the list is the VVT valves and the MAP sensor.

The question to ask is what happened under the hood just before the CEL came on.

Honestly nothing, it's my wifes car and she is a stay at home mom so it doesn't get driven that often, its an 08 and has yet to hit 75,000 miles....

Only things Ive done has been change plugs, k&n air filter and an after market radio. nothing else.

Then I would look for wires laying on hot things or rubbing on things and ground connections.

The ground to the driver side strut tower is looking suspect to me.

My wife has a 2000 Mazda Protege that has not hit 50,000.

Thank you, will certainly take a look this weekend while fixing the P0013 issue. I do tend to agree with you on it being short or ground issue as the last two drives in the car, there was no CEL.... then the next time I start it, poop....... it will show.
