Front end clunking on a 2007 chevy hhr
This is what i found out today, wife's hht had a noise when hitting bumps or turning, complete inspection of the front suspension found that the lowe control arm rear bushings were wiped out, replaced both control arms problem solved

Glad you got it resolved. Keep in mind that the other common noise problems in the front end are caused by: the sway bar links (ball joints wear out and get sloppy), the sway bar bushings that hold it down to the frame.
