Your next step should be a compression and leakdown test. If you buy the tester from Harbor Freight for about $30 you can save the dealership fees.

9/10/15 - Car at Chevy Dealer today. They are trying an engine soak. Say there is a 50% chance it will solve the problem. If not, telling me major engine work needed. As much as I love the car, I can't put that kind of money in it. Hoping for the best!

Took to Chevy dealer. They did an Engine Soak. They told me if problem continues they want to tear apart the engine, that will be costly. Next day light came on again. Disconnected battery and code cleared. Next day, engine light on again, same code, misfire cylinder 4. Car is running fine. Took to an auto shop today. They are checking the computer as now my remote start won't work or my cruise control.

You are likely wasting your time and $ as if you have a CEL code, the remote start WILL NOT WORK, - and I think it might disable the cruise as well.

Correct Whopper, a MIL will cause the cruise control to stop working and the remote start.
A good shop would have known this and not taken your money, but just told you up front!
Now if they find the cause for the misfire then, and fix it then that's another kettle of fish.
Engine soak? How would this cure an electrical issue in the coil or the wire harness to the injector, the things that make me go hhhmmmmmm!

I'm assuming by 'engine soak' he meant they did the intake manifold 'fog' with some sort of cleaner, like Seafoam, and let it sit overnight????????
