Hesitation, No Boost P0101 and P0556 Codes

Having some issues with my 2009 HHR SS with Stage 1.

The vehicle starts to hesitate at lower RPM's (2000k) after about 10-15 minutes of driving. After the code is thrown, the boost is gone and the car still continues to hesitate. It's almost like the fuel is cut off for a second or two.

The engine light has come on with the P0556 code but not with the P0101 code. Of course the light was NOT on when I brought it to the dealer and they say they can't do anything unless the CEL is on (not sure I believe that).

Regardless, here are the code descriptions:

P0556 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Performance
P0101 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance

Is this the dreaded "loose connection" issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Saw your post and thought "finally someone with my same problems" (except for not throwing any codes).
On one occasion I lost all but 5lbs. of boost.
Mine gets worse when the air is turned on.
Had it to the dealer 3 times with no luck.
My son put our scanner on the car and he thought there might be something wrong with the O2 sensor (not cross counting very fast and going to "0" volts occasionally) and/or the wastegate valve (strange readings on air fuel mixture).
If you find a fix please post it and I'll do the same.

My problem was the O2 sensor, just like my son said, however it took three trips to the dealership to get it fixed.
Three times I told them it was the O2 sensor , twice they said it was OK.
Third time it threw a code, and when I asked them what was wrong with it when I picked it up.........."It was a bad O2 sensor"
