to the forums!

That's fuse #24 in the interior fuse block.

I just attempted to recreate what you say happened. I pulled fuse #24 while the engine was running, nothing happened, the engine did not shut off.

Fuse #25, directly above #24 is for the ECM. Pulling that fuse shut the engine off.

Perhaps the previous owner had already removed fuse #24. You mistakenly pulled fuse #25, which shut the engine off. Then you put the fuse in the space for #24, thinking it was where the fuse came from.

Just a guess, make sure there is a 10 amp fuse in space #25, which is the top left space.

Thank-you that did it super appreciate the help . That was my fault now I know . .One more thing if you can help when I have the radio fuse in it will at times turn on and off all night in the morning the Battery is done . So I pull that fuse to stop it but how can that issue be fixed with the radio draining the battery like that .

Is it the original radio, or aftermarket?

Do you want OnStar and XM and bluetooth? If not just lose fuse 24.

I'm thinking if it's aftermarket, someone may have been cutting and splicing, and the radio is "always hot" instead of switched power.

Have the ignition related recalls been performed?

I guess my simple solution isn't worth trying.
