HVAC has a little piece that may catch on the radio and keep it from mounting flush with the rest of the panel, but it wasn't really a problem. Just make sure it lays down right and it'll go just fine.

I have the same issue - High speed not working.... then top two speed do not work.... now nothing works. As if it was "Going, going, gone." Does anyone have a good link that will show me how to replace the blower switch?

This is for a 2006 but it should help you.
