I just changed the front right wheel bearing and now I get the abs and traction lights and service traction message. Did I do something wrong?

Check and make sure the ABS sensor was plugged back in. Try to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and is should reset the computer and see if it comes back on.

thats all that happened, unless the hub you put on is bad, you can bring it to advanced and they will check the code for free

I just came back from exchanging the new unit, in the hope I was just lucky receiving a bad unit. It is a good thing, replacing the bearing does not take too much time.
Thanks for the tip on resetting the computer.

Well that didn't work . I have a service traction message and the abs & no traction icons.I replaced the replacement and let the battery sit for 20 minutes...just in case. Any other thoughts, should I get a code reader?

Hmm, a 2002 HHR. But my guess would be a damaged connector anyway.
