I Need some part numbers
 

Hey everyone i have a 07 panel. and i have found out that on the 08 they have put buttons on the key fob to open the side doors. is there anyone that can get the part numbers for the stuff i need to retro me panel to allow me to add this. i know i will need key fobs and i think a new reciver but i am not sure what else.. can anyone help??? eather leave me a message here or e-mail me at thespokesman@windstream.net

Without getting too involved,the cost would be prohibitive.The rear door locks themselves are different($131.00 each),the receiver is different($59.00),the BCM is different($285.00-choice of two different pieces),and the transmitters are different(either $90 or $125.00 each,depending keyless entry/remote start or not).So,at minimum,you're at approximately $786.00 not including labor.Seems like WAY too much just to keep from reaching in and manually opening a door.
CHEVYMGR,pehaps you can chime in with an explanation of the technical differences regarding the BCMs from 07 & 08 as it relates to the remote lock function of the side cargo doors.

In addition to what tony said, it sounds like a wire harness change too. It may be easier and less expensive to trade.
