Mine were cracked too. The eBay fogs I doubt have anything to do with it. Do you have anything binding? Loosen your screws and remove rivets. Line up the fascia, pop it in, tighten the screws THEN the rivets. See if that helps.

Did you ever find out what the issue was? I just installed a DDM 35w hi/lo kit and I am having the same issues. One side won't fire until I turn the lights on an off a few times. The side that does fire up is dim too. After the on/off cycling they work fine. The DRL fuse and relay are both pulled from the engine bay fuse box.

I have found that both HIDs fire consistently with the ignition off. If I let the automatic system turn them on this is when I get these problems of only one side working. So I'm leaning that is has to be something with the auto system and my 2007..

Could a upside down relay in the fuse box perhaps cause this?

i forgot what fuse or relay i pulled that fixed it. i think it was either the DRL or something else. i think i actually upped the hi and low beam fuses by 5a (reccomended by DDM. i think its 5a, check their site) if not, PM GasMan, hes the man!
