On my journey down to the lake late Thursday night...as soon as I filled my tank "Vixen" threw the P1174 code. I did a little research on the code. But I wanted to come here and see if there has been a consistent spot where the problem seems to be?

I remember when my spark plugs were replaced...oil was found. I haven't pulled the spark plugs yet because it's been a crazy hot, humid and a stormy weekend.

I caught a break Friday night. A severe thunderstorm was heading our way. I left to run an errand. When I returned a huge tree was down that landed where I had been parked.


I put my cowboy hat on the base to give perspective on how big it is! I had been parked under the trees to keep "Vixen" in the shade.

Rockauto has the injectors, I recommend the AC Delco parts,

of course you can possibly get a ey of 4 for less on EBay

Or you can simply clean the injectors.

I forgot about the other issue I have been having. The A.C. will blow cold and then warm air. Is that a confessor issue? My 🤠 had put Freon in months ago. So I'm confident that isn't the issue.

 

If your friend put freon in, then it must have a leak for it to have been low.
If the leak wasn't fixed, then it may have leaked down again.

 

Low Freon must be investigated, checked for leaks. It might be a compressor issue, or a joint oring leaking, could be a pin hole in the condenser.
Either way have it inspected, first . Don’t waste Freon
