Can I reset the key fob myself after the battery goes completly dead? TIA, RANDY

The battery in the HHR or the battery in the fob?

 

The battery in the HHR.Last time this happened,I had to go to the dealer to get the chip in both of the key's re-programed. Why is it like that? The HHR computer has all the other info except the tpms,unlock,lock and remote start. THANX C.M. RANDY

Yes on the reprogram and take both key fobs. Just tell them it quit working, no need to go into the messy details.
